Asseco Solutions Is the Silver Investor of the Year | 27. 10. 2010

The company Asseco Solutions made the second most significant investment in the IT and strategic services sector in the Czech Republic. It was awarded a prize for this fact at the declaration of the contest Investor of the Year on 26 October 2010.

This year the contest was held for as many as the tenth time by the CzechInvest agency and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, together with the AFI association. Asseco Solutions occupied the second position in the IT and Strategic Services category for its investment into the development of new models and IT solutions, the example of which are the Helios information systems.

„I am very pleased with an award in another prestigious contest, which we have been able to gain recently,” says Stanislav Sýkora, Asseco Solutions General Director, and adds: „And I am even more delighted because this contest is a reflection of Czech companies´ effort to invest in the right way – into products which can really contribute to the development of the Czech economy.”

Investor of the Year is a professional contest, declared annually by CzechInvest – Agency for the Support of Enterprising and Investments, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and AFI – Association for Foreign Investments. The general partner of this year´s contest is ČEZ Group, the partner ČSOB, the supporting partners the National Gallery and the companies QUIX and Zátiší Catering and the media partners Euro, Z1, E15 and Strategie. The competing investment projects are evaluated by a jury consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, the AFI association, the CzechInvest agency and the winners of the previous years. This year was the official declaration of the winners for the first time held conjointly with the declaration of the results of the contest Entrepreneurial Realty of the Year. The prizes were presented to the winners at Saint Agnes of Bohemia´s Cloister in Prague on 26 October 2010.
