Solutions for Demanding Business
The representatives of the company presented the new future of the Asseco Solutions products at a press conference, held on 30 March 2011 in Prague. The main news consisted in unifying all the products under the common HELIOS brand and in acquainting the guests with new technologies.
Less than two years ago two leading software companies – LCS International of the Czech Republic and Datalock of the Slovak Republic – merged within the Asseco Group. Thanks to this step a strong multinational company Asseco Solutions came into being. Both the original companies were producers of successful applications not only for companies of any sizes and fields but also for the public service. Their products continued to exist and to be sold and supported. Now, approximately two years after the merger, Asseco Solutions has just unified their names under the single brand: HELIOS.
All the Asseco Solutions products will thus be called HELIOS and segmented into product lines, which follow their predecessors by their names.

„We are proud to set trends in the field of ERP systems development. The new future of the HELIOS systems does not consist just in the change in the name. Its motto is above all technologic advance and respecting the latest development trends,” says Peter Lang, Asseco Solutions Chairman of the Board of Directors. “The key element is the development of cloud-type applications which can be fully outsourced. At present there is already the first module conceived according to this idea. Its name is PersOn and it will provide the customers of the HELIOS systems for medium-sized and small companies with absolutely new possibilities of the approach in processing personnel and wage information.”
Stanislav Sýkora, Asseco Solutions Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, adds: „The latest technologies are crucial for what we are heading for. By using these we are intensely working on the development of an entirely new product for the SME module. We want to present the first result within two years. Next step will then follow towards creating a fully-cloud type of the product, because we are convinced that the future of information systems consists in online applications.”
