Asseco Solutions Comes Into Being | 02. 07. 2009

Asseco Solutions, a.s. is the name of a new business entity – a multinational producer of company information systems (Enterprise Resource Planning Systems – ERP systems), which is coming into being as of 1 July 2009 thanks to the integration of two leaders of the national industry markets, the Slovak company DATALOCK and its Czech counterpart LCS International. This project was made public as early as on 19 February 2009, when it was announced at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, together with the excellent business results of both the companies.

The above-mentioned companies have maintained its legal personality and from now on they will be managed by a six-member Board of Directors by keeping the original Chairmen of the Boards of Directors. The new Board of Directors will be formed by the Members of the Boards of Directors of both the integrating subjects.

Ing. Peter Lang

General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Slovakia

He studied at the Building Faculty of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and he is a holder of a professional diploma in management at the City University Bratislava. As early as during his university studies he started to be engaged in information technologies. He worked as a programmer in the company Pozemní stavby, where he focused on the systems of manufacturing management and on the production calculations of building panels producers. In February 1990 he co-founded the company DATALOCK and in May 1991 he assumed the Director´s office in this company. Subsequently he was gradually leaving the sphere of programming and concentrating on managerial functions, above all as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director. He still holds these offices in Asseco Solutions. He is furthermore the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Asseco Solutions, a.s., Praha.

Consensually with the other Members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Lang comments on the integration: „The project of the integration of two significant players and up-to-now competitors, companies DATALOCK and LCS, represents by both its scope and meaning an amazingly varied set of tasks and personnel management – and as a whole a great new challenge. We do believe that we will consequentially make use of this extraordinary opportunity for the benefit of the single entity and we are delighted to be able to participate in this considerably. The most wonderful tasks consist in creating something new.“

Ing. Stanislav Sýkora

General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Czech Republic

Having graduated from the Agricultural College in Prague, he started his work career as a programmer in the company Agrodat. In 1990 he became an employee of the company LCS International, in which he has held various positions. In the course of time he was among others the Helios Orange Division Director, the HR Director and the Deputy General Director. In August 2007 he was appointed the LCS General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He still holds these offices in Asseco Solutions.

Stanislav Sýkora also agrees with the other Members of the Board of Directors when evaluating the contribution of the integration: „We believe that thanks to the integration of our companies into a single entity we will be able to bring our customers more options, more support, more solutions for them to be able to make use of our membership in the multinational ASSECO GROUP.“

Ing. Radoslav Balvan

Director of the Development Department and Member of the Board of Directors

He majored in Informatics – Software Engineering and Information Technologies Security at the Faculty of Electrotechnics and Informatics of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. Since 1997 he has been working at the company DATALOCK, where he was the executive in the Development Department, responsible for the module Analyses and Statistics, until 2005. Simultaneously he was the head of the Leasing Development Team in the project Volkswagen Financial Services Slovakia. From September 2005 till March 2007 he worked in the company Accenture as a Systems Analyst. From there he returned to DATALOCK and in October 2007 he was appointed the Director of the Development Department. In the days to come he will be appointed the Member of the Board of Directors of Asseco Solutions.

Ing. Jiří Hub

Marketing Director and Member of the Board of Directors

He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of International Relations, major Foreign Trade. As early as prior to graduating he started working at the company LCS International as a marketing assistant in the Business Division. After a one-year work period he was transferred to an independent function and subsequently appointed the Marketing Manager. In 2000 he led the negotiation team during the acquisition of the company Softprofes, s.r.o. In the following years he successively became the Marketing Director and later the Director of the Finance and Marketing Division and simultaneously the Member of the Board of Directors. He holds the office of the Marketing Director in Asseco Solutions alike.

Ing. Dušan Lapčík 

Business Director and Member of the Board of Directors

He graduated from the Polytechnic in Brno, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, having majored in Thermic and Nuclear Machines and CASE Systems. To his previous employers belong the Brno-based company DINGO spol. s r.o., in which he was the Business Director, Co-Owner and Legal Executive and earlier the Brno branch of the company MELZER spol. s r.o., of which he was the Director. Immediately before starting to work at LCS he held the position of the Business Director of the company DS Concept a.s., where he was also a Member of the Supervisory Board. He assumed the position of the Helios Green Business Director in the company LCS in 2008. He has been holding the position of the Asseco Solutions Business Director and Member of the Board of Directors since its establishment.

Ing. Martina Mošková

Economic Director and Member of the Board of Directors

She graduated from the Economic University in Bratislava, Faculty of Economic Informatics, major Accounting and Auditing. Prior to her assuming the office of the Director of the Economic Department in the company DATALOCK, where she has been working since 2007, she had occupied managerial positions in the economic field in the companies Ringier Slovakia a.s., Bratislava and NRC a.s., Trenčín. She was appointed the third Member of the Board of Directors of the company DATALOCK in September 2008 and she has been occupying the same positions also in Asseco Solutions since its establishment. Ms. Mošková is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of the company NRC, a.s., Trenčín.

The executive managements of both the integrating companies are remaining in a virtually unchanged form, as well as the employees occupying other positions. Thus the only change for the customers, partners and suppliers of these companies concerns just the contact and invoicing data.
