Asseco Solutions Products to Qualify for the Finals of the IT Product of the Year Contest | 09. 10. 2009

This year again novelties by Asseco Solutions, namely of the Helios systems family, have qualified for the finals of the prestigious IT Product of the Year Contest, which is traditionally declared by the professional publishing house IDG. Altogether three products by this software house were enlisted - Helios Green Connect – Státní pokladna (Exchequer), Helios Green TV and Helios Orange – Helios Space. All the three can boast of the label Finalist.

The company Asseco Solutions (in previous years LCS International) has enlisted its products to the contest featuring the leading players on the Czech IT market three times. In 2007 the module Helios Green Výroba (Production) made it to the finals too. This year as many as three products compete for success in the contest. Helios Green Connect – Exchequer is a solution in the ERP system for large-scale and medium-sized companies, which is intended for their communication with the public administration. Helios Green TV represents an ERP system version for large-scale and medium-sized TV corporations and their service organizations, engaged in the production of programmes and their broadcasting. The third enlisted product, Helios Orange – Helios Space, is intended for creating plugins, which extend the standard qualities of an information system, by which they make it possible for people outside the producer Asseco Solutions - i.e. for its partners and customers - to cooperate in its development too.

The results of the third round of the IT Product of the Year 2009 Contest were declared by Computerworld magazine in early October 2009. The selected products qualify for the finals, the results of which will be made public in November 2009.
