The companies Asseco Central Europe and Asseco Solutions will be involved in another major change in the near future. At the very beginning of 2010 the product Fenix, so far being a part of the Asseco Czech Republic product portfolio, is to be transferred to its daughter company Asseco Solutions.
The reason for this change consists in consolidating the business portfolio within the framework of the group Asseco Central Europe. In fact a transfer of a part of the company will occur – this means that the entire Municipality Division will join Asseco Solutions. This division covers the teams of the products Fenix and also eObec, therefore all the staff specializing in their development, sales and customer care.
„We believe that this change will open new development possibilities for the product Fenix, which will bring about contribution for its users,“ says Stanislav Sýkora, Asseco Solutions Chairman of the Board of Directors. He adds: „Our systems Helios and Datalock are renowned for their user-friendliness and technologic maturity. This is why we are sure that the Fenix development will continue in this trend.“
„The only difference to be perceived by the clients is the administrative one – from a new invoice letterhead to the address and telephone numbers of the provider. The clients will maintain a contact with the same people with whom they have cooperated so far,“ adds Jan Přerovský, Asseco Czech Republic Country Manager.
„In the transfer of both Fenix and eObec I can see a great deal of synergies, which will be of benefit to ly all the concerned – both the systems´customers and their creators,“ adds Alan Karlach, Municipality Division Manager.
After this change has been carried out, the company Asseco Solutions will have had the staff of almost 500, out of which more than 150 development specialists.
„Thanks to this fact we will be able to shorten the development cycle of our products to one and half a year in the future and thus products of a new generation will emerge faster,“ explains Mr. Sýkora.
The transfer of the part of the company is a legally complicated and time-consuming process. In view of this fact both the companies concerned will timely inform their customers of the determining date of the transfer.
